Fresno shuts down ‘public safety concern’ after illegal gambling found

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A property referred to as a “persistent source of nuisance and a public safety concern” has been shut down after illegal gambling was found inside, according to Fresno City Councilmember Miguel Arias.

Arias announced on Monday that the property located at 385 N Blackstone Avenue had repeated complaints. After an inspection by city officials, they found Illegal gambling and the sale of prohibited drug paraphernalia at the business
