MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The family of one of the two people killed in a deadly suspected DUI crash on New Year’s Eve in Madera County is now speaking out, a week after they lost their daughter.
21-year-old Isabella Villegas-Navarez was one of two people killed in a crash at the intersection of Road 23 and Avenue 13 on the morning of Dec. 31, 2025.
“It ruined the New Year’s Eve for us, for life,” her mother, Reyna Villegas, said. “I remember speaking to her at eight in the morning before the accident, saying, ‘Mama, I love you. I love you, mama.’”…
