FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Over 40 firefighters responded to a building fire in Fresno’s Tower District on Thursday after initial reports said there was someone trapped inside.
According to the Fresno Fire Department, crews responded at around 9:30 a.m. to the building at Hedges and Wishon avenues. Crews were also told that people were trapped inside. They arrived to see flames coming from the roof.
A total of 46 firefighters responded to the scene. Fire officials say no one was found inside the building, which was boarded up at the time.
