CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Clovis Police have “a person of interest” who they believe is connected with an attack that left a Clovis Unified employee dead last December.
Police have not released their name, but according to officials, it “was not a random act.”
The attack happened last December along the canal bank near Barstow Avenue and Highway 168, after 37-year-old Geoffrey Bernardi left his apartment for a walk.
Officials say during the incident, Bernardi was left “beaten beyond recognition.” He died a few days later, on Dec. 20…
