Fresno campuses on alert after people being struck by cars on same day

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Fresno City College’s on-campus police are urging drivers and pedestrians to be mindful of their surroundings following two incidents of people being hit by cars on two different Fresno campuses.

According to the State Center Community College District Chief of Police, Jose Flores, a cyclist riding on the sidewalk was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon.

Officials at Fresno State confirmed a student riding a scooter was involved in a traffic collision near Shaw Avenue and Maple Avenue the same day…
