2 arrested after shooting that killed 19-year-old in Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two men were arrested Tuesday following a shooting in Fresno that ended in the death of a 19-year-old, police said.

On Saturday, Jan. 24, at around 9:15 p.m., officers responded to a business complex at Dakota and Hughes avenues regarding a shooting victim. When they arrived, officers said they found 19-year-old Joe Rodriguez on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Man shot multiple times in Fresno dies on scene, police say

He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment, but despite life-saving efforts, he passed away.

Officers said on Tuesday, detectives arrested 21-year-old Isaiah Mobley and 19-year-old Gavin Vasquez.

They were both booked into the Fresno County Jail and are facing murder charges, police say…
