SELMA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Selma veterinarian lost his license to practice last Friday after the state Veterinary Medical Board discovered his unnecessary medical procedures left multiple pets with undue suffering.
According to court documents, he also had “buckets of animal parts” lying around his facility.
Unsanitary Conditions
Those unsanitary conditions were found at Rodney Ken Hatayama’s South County Veterinary Hospital on August 16, 2022.
Per the inspector, “nearly every room in [Hatayama’s] facility was cluttered, dirty, dusty, unsanitary, and had a foul odor of blood or internal organs,” including the surgical room…
