SANGER – Those looking to grab a bite can try a new local business that’s just fired up its grills.
On Feb. 6, local leaders and community members gathered at 630 Academy Ave. for the grand opening and ribbon cutting for Tasty Bunz, a fast food joint cooking up burgers, shakes and much more. Having recently moved to the area himself, owner Abdo Alghazali is excited to bring a new food option to the community.
“We’re glad we finally got to get these doors open for everybody, and everybody gets to try the food and the quality,” Alghazali said. “We want to make sure every burger is made with love.”
During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Mayor Frank Gonzalez presented the business with a certificate of recognition, and a framed picture of the Nation’s Christmas Tree.
