Madera police arrest teen for graffiti vandalism

MADERA, California — A 19-year-old was arrested for spray painting gang-related graffiti on a residential fence, according to the City of Madera Police Department.

During a night shift, Officer Aldecoa responded to the 600 block of South Street after a citizen reported a subject spray painting a fence. Upon arrival, Officer Aldecoa located Brayan Pacheco, age 19, who matched the description provided by the witness.

When approached, Pacheco fled on foot and attempted to discard two spray paint cans but was apprehended a short distance away…
