FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Fresno State and other California State University employees began a four-day strike Tuesday, claiming the system failed to pay their contractual salary increases.
“It’s pretty unfair. And I think the public needs to know that the people that are running the CSU aren’t treating us fair, and that’s why we’re out here in the rain, in the cold,” Drew Scott, a facility control specialist at Fresno State and a steward of the Teamster Union, told YourCentralValley.com on Tuesday.
Scott says the contract was settled with CSU almost three years ago to give them a payout on July 1.
