Central Valley heroes honored, awarded through Red Cross

FRESNO – A few individuals from the Tulare and Fresno County area are being honored at the Central Valley Hero Awards for the various heroic acts that they have contributed to the communities around them.

On Feb. 10, the American Red Cross of the Central Valley announced the 2026 class of heroes that will be honored at the Central Valley Heroes Awards on March 19 at 5:30 p.m., at the Grand 1401 in Fresno. Heroes from all across the Valley are being recognized, including residents from the communities of Visalia, Exeter, Woodlake and Reedley.

“Our Central Valley Heroes Awards celebrate ordinary people with extraordinary impact,” said Lori Wilson, Executive Director of the American Red Cross Central Valley Chapter in the announcement. “These heroes reflect the mission of the Red Cross by responding in times of need with their bravery, compassion and volunteerism.”…
