FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Terry’s House in Downtown Fresno is celebrating 15 years of providing a “home away from home” for families of hospital patients who are facing critical and often life-threatening injuries and illnesses.
To celebrate 15 years of helping families during difficult times, a bust of Terry Richards, the home’s namesake, was unveiled.
Community Regional Medical Center said Richards was just five years old when he was seriously injured in a car accident. For nearly five months while he recovered, CRMC said his mother had to travel nearly 80 miles away just to be by his side…
