FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Arby’s, the national chain known for its roast beef sandwiches, is apparently no longer operating in Fresno.
Rumors on social media that the brand had permanently left Fresno appear to be backed up by the company’s own restaurant locator. Typing in a Fresno ZIP code into the restaurant locator shows no locations with Fresno, and instead shows the closest location at the Love’s Travel Stop on Avenue 17 and Highway 99 in Madera County.
Hollywood’s iconic Arby’s cowboy hat sign is being replaced by this chain
Pictures of the Arby’s location at Sierra Avenue and Blackstone Avenue in Fresno captured by YourCentralValley.com showed activity and lights on inside the store on Wednesday evening, but details for that location on the company’s website simply state “the meats aren’t here”; the phone number for the store is not answered with a message that says “all circuits are busy right now.”
A reason for the closure of the Arby’s locations in Fresno was not immediately provided. YourCentralValley.com has reached out to the company for further information.
