A groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new church in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A groundbreaking ceremony was held today in northwest Fresno, marking the first new church building for the Presbytery of San Joaquin in decades.

Leaders and church members gathered at North Brawley to celebrate the milestone.

Pastor Alex Gonzalez said, “So one of our biggest idea is to be able to build a place for the community and for those people that need assistance to get it. So this will be a place not only for worship but it will be a place for gatherings, for fellowship, and for personal growth.”…
