FRESNO COUNTY – A Selma man has been identified in a fatal crash west of the 99.
At around 12:55 p.m. on Feb. 23, the California Highway Patrol Communications Center received a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Temperance and Clemenceau avenues west of Selma and Kingsburg. Evan Reed, 30, of Selma died in the accident after his motorcycle collided with the rear of a Peterbilt Mid-Valley refuse truck.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the refuse truck was traveling northbound on Temperance Avenue and approaching the intersection at Clemenceau Avenue. As the truck was making a left turn, Reed approached at an unknown speed on his 2025 Kawasaki ZX636 motorcycle, colliding with the side of the truck within the intersection…
