CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — A Clovis woman with advanced liver disease is sharing her story publicly in hopes of finding a living donor who could save her life.
Patricia “Pati” Gerrish has been diagnosed with stage-4 liver disease caused by NASH, or non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, a condition that can lead to cirrhosis and organ failure. Gerrish says the disease runs in her family but she did not realize how severe it had become until her symptoms rapidly worsened.
