Allegations of human composting made against San Joaquin River Parkway Trust

Disturbing allegations were made Thursday afternoon against the San Joaquin River Parkway Trust about a section of land along the river off Friant Road in Fresno County.

Supervisor Garry Bredefeld joined the chairman of the board of the San Joaquin River Conservancy, Fresno City Council member Nick Richardson and Madera County supervisor Jordan Wamhoff to discuss a “cease and desist” order issued to San Joaquin River Parkway Trust, which acquired Sumner Peck Ranch in 2020.
