FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An investigation is underway after shots were fired near River Park in Fresno Saturday evening, the Fresno Police Department announced.
Police say around 5:45 p.m., they received reports of a disturbance near Blackstone and El Paso avenues, just south of the Raising Cane’s.
Responding officers learned there was some sort of fight between two groups, believed to be males ranging in age from 15 to 20, before shots were fired. Police confirmed their ShotSpotter detected two rounds and found two casings on scene, but no victims were found.
Investigators report the suspected shooter fled in a red Nissan sedan.
Police also responded to Locust and College avenues, where they believe the suspects may have fled to. Officers ended up clearing a home in the area and say the occupants are cooperating…
