Man rams into driver during chase through Fresno, arrested for 39th time, deputies say

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man in a suspected stolen pickup was arrested for the 39th time Friday after his impromptu chase abruptly came to an end, right into the back of a car, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies say they tried to pull over the Ford pictured below around 10 a.m. However, they say the driver, 38-year-old Nicholas Lefall, sped away as soon as he reached the intersection of First and Shaw.

During the pursuit, deputies say he erratically weaved through traffic, reaching up to 75 mph…
