‘People who need it’: Man donates dozens of gift cards for Fresno TSA workers

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – TSA workers at Fresno Yosemite International Airport are still showing up and screening passengers, even while a partial government shutdown delays their paychecks.

TSA workers can’t accept gifts while they’re on duty, so the airport found a workaround. They set up a drop-off box right before security where travelers can leave grocery, gas and restaurant gift cards for the workers keeping the airport running.

Scott Parks flies to San Diego frequently, but this time, he didn’t come to the airport empty-handed…
