Missing Fresno teen found with man in Watsonville hotel, police say

WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A teenager missing from Fresno was found at a hotel in Watsonville with a 24-year-old man, police announced.

According to Watsonville Police, they received information on March 17 that a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing in Fresno was believed to be in Watsonville.

Within three hours, officers say they found the teenager at a hotel in the 100 block of Airport Boulevard, near Freedom Boulevard, with 24-year-old Darwin Linares of Watsonville.

Investigators reported Linares was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail on charges of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
