Fresno’s record-breaking spring heat wave will cool off soon. Here’s the forecast

The warmer-than-usual March temperatures in the Fresno area will begin to cool down early next week, giving the Valley some respite from record-setting temperatures.

Emily Wilson, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service office in Hanford, said temperatures will slightly dip starting Tuesday before warming up again over the following weekend.

Next Tuesday, a storm system is anticipated to reach the Central Valley. This is currently expected to bring temperatures down into the low 70s — more than 10 degrees cooler than the forecast for the day prior…
