FRESNO — Cal State LA’s women’s tennis team finished its three-day Fresno trip with a hard-fought battle against Stanislaus State.
The Golden Eagles dropped a hotly contested doubles point and managed a pair of singles wins in a 5-2 setback to the Warriors at Fresno Pacific’s Haak Tennis Center.
Cal State LA (1-10) got singles wins at No. 1 and No. 6 singles and a close call at No. 2 singles in the match against Stanislaus State (6-6). Maldini Simic and Sofia Pavlova earned a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles, but Mane Sargsyan and Macy Hinds fell at No. 2 doubles and Hideka Takamura and Georgiana Parr fell at No. 3 doubles, 6-4…
