Lawsuit filed after Fresno Unified retirees lost coverage after plan change

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Law Office of Kevin G. Little is filing a class action lawsuit against the Fresno Unified School District on behalf of over 6,200 retirees for changing their insurance plan and issuing an “unwarranted” audit, according to information sent to YourCentralValley.com.

In July 2023, Fresno Unified switched its retired employees’ health insurance from original Medicare to Medicare Advantage, which left many without coverage for vital services.
