Cooler temperatures and raindrops will return soon

It was a warm Easter in the Valley, and Monday looks almost as warm. So, if you *ahem* “borrow” some of your child’s Easter chocolate and bring it with you to work, don’t leave it in your car – bring it inside. Otherwise, you’ll have a messy but delicious smelling interior of your car!

We didn’t set any records, but Easter Sunday was hot. Merced warmed up to 86 while Hanford reached 87 for an afternoon high. Fresno, Visalia, and Madera all got to 88, while Porterville hit 89. Somebody’s Easter chocolate melted in the back of their car Sunday afternoon – I just hope it wasn’t yours.

Monday won’t be much cooler, as we’ll see highs in the middle 80’s. Those will drop to the lower 80’s on Tuesday, and to near 80 on Wednesday, as the sunshine continues…
