Nevada earthquake felt in Fresno, USGS says

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An earthquake in Nevada sent a shockwave that could be felt all the way down in Fresno on Monday.

The 5.7 magnitude earthquake hit 20 km ESE of Silver Springs, just before 5:30 p.m.

According to a shakemap of the area, people reported feeling the shaking in Fresno, Madera, and even Sanger.

Despite being large enough to cause slight to moderate damage, no damage or injuries were reported…
