SANGER, Calif. (FOX26) — A simple act of kindness is gaining attention online after a Sanger woman shared a story about a young man who stepped in to help an elderly woman safely cross the street.
Patty Trejo-Cardosa said she witnessed the moment firsthand, describing how the young man acted without hesitation when the woman was still in the crosswalk as the light turned green.
Trejo-Cardosa said she pulled over to speak with him afterward, telling him she was proud and that his actions “touched her heart.” She added that his kindness stood out, especially at a time when she believes many people overlook those in need…
