Judge orders alleged getaway driver in Caleb Quick murder to remain in juvenile detention

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The judge in the Caleb Quick murder trial ordered one of the defendants to remain in juvenile detention.

Cassandra Michael, who was 16 at the time of the crime, is accused of acting as the getaway driver in the murder, was in court for a transfer hearing on Friday.

Caleb Quick’s father, Stephen Quick, was in the courtroom and said the judge issued the ruling, “She was found to show guilty of criminal sophistication and gravity of the offense. Yet the law states if she’s amenable to rehabilitation, she must stay in juvenile.”…
