Motorcyclist hospitalized after DUI crash in Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after colliding with a driver believed to be under the influence of alcohol in Fresno Saturday evening, the Fresno Police Department announced.

Police say just before 9:30 p.m., they responded to a reported motorcycle crash near Bond and Ashlan avenues.

Responding officers reported finding the motorcycle rider, believed to be in his 20s, on the ground, conscious but not very responsive. He was transported to a local hospital, where his condition is unknown.

Investigators determined the motorcyclist was headed eastbound on Ashlan Avenue, approaching Bond Avenue, when a vehicle on Bond Avenue attempted to make a left turn in front of the rider…
