ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Five teams from Wylie Independent School District competed at the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, with one team bringing home a world title. The students were recognized during Thursday morning’s city council meeting.
The international competition welcomed teams from around the world competing in six challenge categories.
The team “Hardly Prepared” from Wylie East Junior High placed 18th in the world in the fine arts category and also earned the Renaissance Award for outstanding creativity and design.
