Hattie B’s Brings Famed Hot Chicken To Plano

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, the Nashville-born restaurant known for its fiery take on Southern fried chicken, officially opened its doors in West Plano. The restaurant debuted today at 2104 Preston Road in Preston Towne Crossing, taking over and transforming the former Boston Market building into the chain’s second North Texas location.

The new restaurant spans just over 3,000 square feet and includes an expansive patio designed for Texas weather. Inside, guests will find seating for 56, while the outdoor space accommodates another 50 diners.

The opening follows Hattie B’s first Dallas-Fort Worth restaurant in Oak Lawn, which launched in October 2024.

At the top of the scale sits the aptly named Shut the Cluck Up!, a challenge that has helped make the brand famous far beyond Tennessee.

For diners who prefer to skip the spice altogether, Hattie B’s also offers traditional Southern fried chicken and a Sweet and Smoky dry rub option.

On The Menu

The Plano restaurant serves the full Hattie B’s lineup, including several fan favorites. The Dirty Bird fries layer crispy fries with pimento mac and cheese, chicken bites and comeback sauce, while the classic chicken sandwich pairs fried or grilled chicken with pickles, slaw and sauce. Larger appetites can opt for the jumbo tenders plate or the half bird plate, which includes a breast, thigh, leg and wing…
