Things to Do in Prosper: A Local Mom’s Favorite Places

Realtor and mom of three Anne Cicero has lived all over the U.S.—from the East Coast to Hawaii. Now, she and her husband, Dave, a professor at UNT, have put down roots in Prosper because of its strong schools, family-friendly atmosphere and growing community. “We were attracted to the high-quality education and small-town feel, with big-city perks,” she says. Here are her local spots—favorite coffee shop, family restaurants, seasonal traditions, volunteer opportunities—to regularly explore in and around town with her three daughters.

Where She Goes for Mother-Daughter Dates

“My middle daughter and I will go to 1418 Coffee (my go-to order is the Purple Haze latte with lavender and vanilla), or shop at local boutiques like Ciao Bella or Flea Style. Ciao Bella carries some of my favorite casual clothes or outfits for work, and also great gifts like Volcano candles or enewton bracelets. Flea Style for fun tees and accessories.”
