A man has been killed and another wounded after a child custody exchange ended in gunfire Friday in the parking lot of an Allen shopping center, police said.
Officers were called before 6 p.m. to the scene on State Highway 121 near North Watters Road, according to the Allen Police Department.
“The preliminary investigation indicates that the incident occurred during a child custody exchange involving the father of the children and the mother’s boyfriend,” said Allen Police Officer Sammy Rippamonti. “An altercation occurred between the two men, resulting in both sustaining a gunshot wound.”…
