Work moves forward at Plano’s largest undeveloped site

Last week Stillwater Capital gave an update on its massive mixed-use development at Haggard Farm. The company has surpassed $300 million in investment at the intersection of Spring Creek Parkway and Parkwood Boulevard with construction now underway.

Covering 124 acres, Haggard Farm is one of the largest remaining development sites in the city. The Haggard family, for which the site is named, have owned the land since 1856, nearly 20 years before Plano was founded. Living dissidents helped to spearhead the ongoing development before the Plano City Council, who approved the development in December 2021.

The first three projects within the mixed-use district include a 180,000-square-foot retail village, developed in partnership with The Retail Connection and WoodHouse. It is expected to open in the fall of 2027. A 350-unit multifamily community called The Bowen and a 188-unit townhome community, both developed by Stillwater, will open the following year alongside a three-acre neighborhood park…
