Prosper is taking a little more time to consider what could become one of the biggest developments in town. The town council postponed its consideration of The Marco, a proposed 143-acre mixed-use development at the northeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and U.S. 380.
The council was scheduled to review the project Sept. 22 but pushed the matter to Oct. 27 after council members submitted additional questions and feedback to town staff.
If approved, The Marco would bring an Italian-inspired village to one of Prosper’s most prominent intersections, centered around a more than 15-acre lagoon, canals, a public square, restaurants, retail, offices, hotels, entertainment and as many as 4,400 homes…
