RICHARDSON, Texas — Brian Rowe moved to the Sharp’s Farm neighborhood in Richardson for its relative peace and quiet. Since late last year, he says it’s not all that quiet anymore – thanks to the half dozen drones he hears every day.
“I can be inside my home, on a conference call in my office, and I can tell you which direction it was and roughly how far away it was. There’s a lot of noise,” the Sharp’s Farm HOA president said of package delivery drones coming and going from the Amazon Fulfillment Center at Research Drive and Shiloh about a mile from his home.
