IBM spinoff Kyndryl, a provider of enterprise-level IT infrastructure services, opened an AI innovation lab in Frisco Oct. 1. It is the company’s first AI lab in the U.S.
The lab, at 5844 John Hickman Parkway, could create up to 300 jobs in AI, tech consulting and design engineering over the next four years, Kyndryl said. The Frisco facility joins New York City-based Kyndryl’s global network of AI labs, including locations in the United Kingdom and Luxembourg.
Kyndryl occupies nearly 5,800 square feet in Offices 3 at Frisco Station, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration. The renovation cost an estimated $500,000. A Kyndryl spokesperson confirmed the project’s details…
