ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The owner who was seen in a viral video slamming his dog into the wall of an Abilene car wash is now facing charges, and the dog remains in his care.
Police say this man, who has only been publicly identified as a resident of Allen, Texas, “is being charged with a Class C Misdemeanor, under Chapter 6, Subchapter 6-16 City of Abilene City Ordinances which governs the care and humane treatment of animals.”
In their update, police also noted the dog remains in this man’s care because the criteria for removal under the Abilene Code of Ordinances was not met.
