Yesterday (September 5) marked one month since Benita Woody went missing. Like many of the other cases on Our Black Girls, there isn’t much known about the circumstances surrounding Benita’s disappearance. Her loved ones have continued to share their pleas for her return on social media, so I’ve included a few of their posts in this article.
The last time anyone saw Benita Woody was on August 5, 2020, in McKinney, Texas. The 42-year-old was seen in her gray 2007 GMC Yukon, but information regarding where she may have been coming from or going is unknown. Benita’s vehicle was later found abandoned on “Interstate 40 near MM 113 in Canadian County, Oklahoma,” reports The Charley Project. Nothing hinted at where Benita could be. Her phone last pinged from a cell phone tower in Canadian County.
Pleas From A Desperate Family
On Facebook, Benita’s sister, Ju-Wanda Woody, wrote, “Itβs been a month and my sister have not been found. God Please! Send your Help to me and my family!!! God we need you now!!!π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’. Please Share!!!!!”
