Two suspects are in custody and others are being sought following a shootout with Dallas police early Sunday morning.
Dallas Police say they responded to a robbery in progress at a business on West Wheatland Road, south of I-20.
When police arrived the suspects opened fire. Police also returned fire, hitting one of the suspects. Officers ran after the suspects and there was a second exchange of gunfire.
A second person was captured and transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say the other suspects took off. No officers were hurt in the shooting.
