ALLEN, Texas – A major crash sent three people to the hospital and shut down southbound U.S. 75 through Allen early Friday morning. The southbound lanes were shut down at McDermott Drive around 4:45 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation. By 10 a.m., the highway was open again.
