The Denton Police Department received about 60 reports of apartment residents finding their vehicle windows smashed and rifled through on Thursday, according to police reports.
At about 5:57 a.m., officers responded to a vehicle burglary report. They would be dispatched more than once to similar reports. Additional vehicle owners filed reports online. Officers expect more reports to come in.
