TEXAS (KTAL/KMSS) – The Geaux 4 Kids organization is expanding its efforts to East Texas. Geaux Bags began in 2013 after K.C. Kilpatrick realized the initial 24 to 48 hours after adopting a child out of the system are the most difficult for the family. Kilpatrick began a grassroots effort out of her car, which has grown into a 501c3 helping kids across Louisiana and now Texas.
