Investigation Underway: Fatal Denton House Fire Claims Life

Fire marshalls are examining the cause of a house fire that happened on Saturday, September 7. Someone was found dead, and another individual was sent to the hospital.

The Denton Fire Department reported on social media that the fire broke out in the 3300 block of Avon, and fire crews responded

When firefighters arrived at the house, they said they pulled a person from the burning home, but the person was pronounced deceased.

A second individual was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition, as verified by the fire department.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner case record for the deceased person states specifically that the house fire was at 3307 Avon Dr, Denton, Texas, and identified the victim as Allen Mark Riny, age 39.

Denton fire officials said that the firefighting teams had successfully controlled the fire. Civilians are urged to steer clear of the area for the time being.
