In a toast to summer and the United States’ independence, Texas restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues contributed over $763 million to the state’s economy in alcohol sales this July, the latest data available from the Texas Comptroller’s office.
The figure only reflects sales within the hospitality and entertainment sectors, excluding additional revenue from retail stores.
