DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- If you use parking meters in Dallas, this story is for you. Prices are going up starting today, Tuesday.
The minimum rate for on-street parking meters is now $1 an hour. Some meters already charge $1 an hour — those will stay the same. But any meters below a buck – are going up with the exception of the ones in Deep Ellum.
Those won’t go up until 2026 because of the reconstruction on Commerce Street.
