As we head into the holiday spirit, it’s time to lace up those running shoes for the North Texas Turkey Trot, which means Frisco residents get ready for some street closures. Tomorrow, Thanksgiving morning, from 6 to 10 a.m., a chunk of Frisco’s streets will be off-limits to vehicles because of the festive foot race. An advisory from the City of Frisco detailed that today, starting at 5 p.m., the area of Simpson Plaza in front of the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center will be closed off. However, the city hall remains accessible from other directions, and parking will be diverted behind the building, according to the official announcement.
