NORTH TEXAS – You’ll have to deal with rain throughout the weekend. With many holiday events and shopping planned, we need to alert you to this persistent rain that will linger most of the weekend.
Occasional light rain and drizzle will persist overnight and into tomorrow morning. If you’re heading to the Dallas Parade, dress for temperatures in the 40s and be prepared for occasional wet weather.
The heavier rain will arrive by midday tomorrow and is likely to persist through the rest of the day and into the evening. Most of this will be light, with patchy fog developing by night.
CBS News Texas is helping host the Klyde Warren Park Tree Lighting ceremony. Rain chances are high, but most of the rain looks to be light, with no lightning or strong winds expected. Temperatures will be in the damp 40s.
Another round of rain will arrive Sunday morning at daybreak. This round could bring rumbles of thunder and periods of heavier rain.
