Who Replaces Eagles Jalen Hurts and Cowboys CeeDee Lamb as Inactives Revealed?

The Philadelphia Eagles will be without star quarterback Jalen Hurts for today’s high-stakes NFC East matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, while Dallas will have to navigate the absence of their top wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb.

Hurts, sidelined with a concussion, will be replaced by Kenny Pickett, who is making his first start in an Eagles uniform. Tanner McKee will serve as the backup quarterback, with Ian Book designated as the emergency third QB under NFL rules.

Defensively, Philadelphia will also miss linebacker Nakobe Dean, who is out with an abdomen injury. Oren Burks is expected to start alongside Zack Baun, while rookie Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and practice squad elevation Dallas Gant will provide depth. This marks Gant’s first regular-season appearance with the Eagles.

In the Eagles’ backfield, rookie Will Shipley remains in concussion protocol and has been ruled out. Tyrion Davis-Price, elevated from the practice squad, will serve as the third running back behind Saquon Barkley and Kenny Gainwell, making his first appearance in an Eagles uniform.
