Some mid-Missouri commuters may have a slick commute Monday, with another possible winter storm next weekend

Portions of central Missouri could have a slippery commute to work in the morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for today and tonight for the following counties: Benton, Camden, Dallas, Dent, Laclede, Maries, Miller, Morgan, Phelps, Pulaski, and Texas.

A cold front is expected to slide through the region this afternoon. While no precipitation is expected, there will be increasing cloud cover and winds turn out of the northwest. Wind chills in the single digits tonight could lead to black ice, making morning travel treacherous due to refreezing of snow melt overnight…
